
Project Coordinator
Our team is growing rapidly and we’re seeking an experienced project coordinator to work on the exciting and ever-expanding portfolio of projects in our commercial division. The Project Coordinator would be required to assist in the project management of the Landscape Construction throughout Ottawa area. This position reports to the Project Manager. The Project Coordinator assists in all aspects of the project; scheduling, submissions, customer relations, contract management, change management, quality control, safety, GPS Data Preparation and GPS Field Layout.
Responsibilities:

Work with the project team to develop the landscape construction plan

Work with the project team to develop, update and monitor the project schedule

Work with the project team to develop, update and monitor the project specific safety requirements
-
Communicates and coordinates activities with other staff (Site and Head Office) to ensure smooth production operation

Schedule and coordinate inspections
Requirements:
-
C.E.T designation preferred
-
2 years of experience in a relevant field

Clear understanding of contracts, plans, and specifications, as well as construction methods, materials and regulations. Includes knowledge of all trades, staff responsibilities, scheduling and scopes of work.

Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are mandatory

Skills in building relationships with a broad network of contracts, including trade partners and suppliers and a strong customer focus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, both oral and written. Willing to take responsibility and be held accountable for results.

Highly organized along with detailed and thorough, able to multi-task and excellent management skills

Excellent computer skills

Valid full class G driver’s license
