Vice President
Kyle began his journey as a labourer in the construction industry while successfully completing his undergraduate degree at Carleton University. After nearly a decade of working in the field, Kyle joined Thunderbolt in 2016. Kyle has put his field experience in construction to work in estimating, management, and building relations in the industry. As Vice President, Kyle is responsible for enhancing day-to-day business operations including improvements in performance management and process standardization.

A part of the team since 2014, Steve brings proven strategic direction and resource management skills to his role as Vice President of Operations. In addition to managing talent development initiatives, and building and motivating high-performance teams, Steve also oversees both our residential and property maintenance divisions. His knowledge in the landscaping industry extends beyond interlock, retaining walls, ponds/pools, planting, scheduling of resources, and project management.

Andy's long-time friend and Thunderbolt's first full-time employee, Curt is responsible for the overall construction management, resource coordination, and commercial estimating. His great attention to detail and dedication are what make him an integral part of the team.

Jennifer is an Algonquin College graduate in Business Accounting program who brings over 16 years of bookkeeping and general accounting experience to the team. Her accounting and human resource skills are beneficial to our team and help keep both managers and staff organized.

Sheri is a Professional Mechanical Engineer who brings over 21 years of engineering and project management experience to the team. As the Senior Project Manager of our Commercial Landscape Division, she is responsible for developing the overall project plan, managing benchmarks, and ensuring the projects are on schedule and within budget.

Tom’s experience in the industry, and as a previous business owner himself, brings much knowledge to the team. As Fleet Manager and General Construction Supervisor, Tom plays a vital role in his 7 years at Thunderbolt, overseeing our fleet and ensuring they are available and operating as required.

Service Manager
Born into the trade, Brad has learned from the best mechanics, welders and operators in Ottawa and the valley, including his very own father. Adept at diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, he has designed and fabricated special attachments for them, built heavy plow trucks and liaised with MTO inspectors to improve roadways. As Service Manager, Brad is responsible for managing the daily operations of our shop and ensuring our fleet is in its best condition.

Commercial Field Supervisor
A dedicated member of the Thunderbolt team for over 15 years, Casey has a sound knowledge of residential landscaping, large scale commercial projects and snow removal. He is SRW certified, and has training in grading, draining, pond and pool installation and silva cell installation. As our Field Supervisor, Casey displays proven leaderships skills to help ensure projects are completed with the highest standards in mind.

With over 20 years of experience in the field, Bill has first-hand knowledge in retaining walls, interlock, sod, trees and civil works. He started in the industry as a general labourer and very quickly worked his way to become highly skilled foreman and now, Thunderbolt’s Commercial Field Supervisor. Bill is a proven leader whose been with our team for over 10 years!

Logistics and Sales Manager
Braydon has been a welcomed member of our team for 6 years! While earning his college diploma and university degree, Braydon joined our team as a labourer. Each year, he returned to take on more responsibility including operating and driving equipment from our fleet. Now our Logistics and Sales Manager, Braydon spends his days coordinating drivers’ schedules, building a rapport with clients, and assisting in the daily sales of our topsoil division.

Born and raised in Deep River, Ontario, Kevin joins the team with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Having explored opportunities in Ontario, and as far as Alberta, he brings a sound knowledge of heavy equipment, construction, forestry and mining to the team. As Topsoil Foreman, Kevin oversees the operations of our screening plants and ensures we are producing high-quality topsoil for our projects and those of others.
