  • We are looking for reliable, team-oriented individuals who enjoy working outdoors to join our team of professionals for this winter season. Our crews are committed to ensuring local businesses and communities are safely accessible during winter months and we take pride in our quality of work. Full-time landscape maintenance and construction positions are available following the winter season.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Safely operate sidewalk plows, snow blowers, and other snow removal equipment to clear walkways, entrances, and pedestrian areas.

    • Shovel snow in areas not accessible by equipment, including stairs, tight corners, and building entrances.

    • Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing materials to sidewalks, pathways, and entryways to ensure safe walking surfaces.

    • Support plow operators and other crew members with site clean-up, equipment maintenance, and other tasks as needed.

    • Perform basic pre- and post-operation checks on equipment (fueling, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues).

    • Inspect designated areas for snow and ice buildup throughout shifts, ensuring consistent and thorough service.

    • Communicate issues relating to employee relations, equipment issues, customer issues – make suggestions for solutions.

    • Maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.

    • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures prescribed by the Company and WHMIS Guidelines in performance of duties.

  • We are growing rapidly and are seeking an experienced 310T licensed mechanic to assist in maintaining our modern fleet of vehicles and equipment.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    ·  Perform scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs etc. on all vehicles and equipment.

    · Perform on-site inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy trucks/heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, skid-steers, Dump trucks and more.

    · Diagnose, repair and service, braking systems, suspension systems, air systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, cab HVAC, steering components, drivelines, and more.

    · Troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity of equipment.

    · Utilize technology and digital tools to document service tasks and provide detailed reports.

    · Collaborate with the Service Team to manage parts inventory and order necessary supplies.

    · Perform Ministry of Transportation vehicle inspections as per Ministry guidelines.

    · Complete all necessary paperwork as required for repairs and inspections completed.

    · Actively participate in on-the-job training of crew members.

    · Communicate issues relating to employee relations, equipment issues, customer issues – make suggestions for solutions.

    · Maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.

    · Follow all health and safety policies and procedures prescribed by the Company and WHMIS Guidelines in performance of duties.

    Requirements:

    · Minimum of 3 years of related experience in vehicle/equipment maintenance.

    · Valid G driver's license. Class DZ license an asset.

    · Possess own set of mechanic's basic tools.

    · Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

    · The ability to safely operate power tools.

    · Excellent time management skills.

    · Effective communication skills.

2. Interview

If you meet all of the requirements, our recruiter will conduct a phone screening with you, followed by an in-person interview with the hiring manager.

3. Onboarding

The successful candidate will be notified within 1 week of their interview date. At this time, the candidate will complete all onboarding requirements including mandatory health and safety training.

4. Welcome

On your first day, you will receive an orientation of the workplace and your safety uniform kit.
